What is the best Ranger armor in Calamity? ›

Statigel is the best choice due to its mobility and high defense. Aerospec is still a solid armor set but is not as good as statigel. Necro Armor is a pretty decent option.

The Ravager is a Hardmode boss that can be fought anywhere on the Surface. On top of dropping a unique set of weapons and accessories, its purpose is to act as an efficient, though not necessarily easy, means of acquiring Life Alloys, Cores of Calamity, and other materials via Fleshy Geodes.

The Brimblade is effective against Calamitas, especially when the blades stack together. The Terror Talons are a decent option, especially when the player is far enough away from Calamitas or her brothers that the projectiles consistently hit them.
