What does E02 mean on Saluspa? ›

Error Code: E02. The E02 error code pops up when the pump doesn't detect enough water to run the filtration or heating system.

It takes 20-28 hours depending on the outdoor temperature to heat to 104 degrees. If you set it on F, you get a little more granularity over the temperature control; on a really hot day under the sun I prefer 102 degrees, but at night under the stars I like the full 104.

The water flow sensors will not detect the water properly if the water is below the minimum line on the spa liner. To resolve this top your Lay‑Z‑Spa up with water so the water level is between the minimum and maximum lines. Please do not fill the spa from a kettle which has been boiled.

If the water stops flowing as soon as you reconnect the filter (and you then get E02), it means the filter is the only thing obstructing water flow.

We advise leaving your inflatable hot tub on all the time to maintain proper water chemistry and temperature. This way, it will be ready for use whenever you like. Just remember to keep the cover on when not in use to conserve energy and keep debris out.

Generally, hot tub biofilm comes from contaminants introduced by the people bathing, such as skin oils, deodorants, lotions and perfumes. Older or damaged filters, imbalanced water and ineffective sanitation can also lead to the formation of hot tub slime.

The most common options to keep your water clean are chlorine and bromine. To be more cost effective, you can often purchase the chemicals needed for inflatable spa maintenance in a bundle at your local pool and spa store. Check your pH balance regularly with our 3 in 1 water test strips.

-E05 means the pump detects some problems with the temperature sensor connector, or the temperature sensors are broken.

Never operate your SaluSpa for 24 hours, 7 days a week. Your filtration system only needs to run 8 hours per day to maintain the chemical balance and running the heater continuously for too many days will result in pump damage.

What temperature should I leave my hot tub on overnight? ›

Generally, you should set the temperature of your hot tub to between 98 and 104 degrees Fahrenheit (36 and 40 degrees Celsius), even when not using it. However, if you plan to be away or know you won't use it for up to six weeks, lower the temperature to around 50 degrees Fahrenheit (10 degrees Celsius).

If you are planning on using your Lay‑Z‑Spa frequently, we recommend leaving the heat and filter on all the time as this is the most cost‑effective in the long run. If you use your Lay‑Z‑Spa less regularly, don't forget that all our hot tubs include the Power Saving Timer which lets you control your heating in advance.

An error code E02 indicate a short on the 12/24 VDC power supply. On current I/O Boards with the 1-24 terminal strip: Verify any wiring on the power output connections (1,2,3,4,5,7, etc.). Verify any strike wiring connections.
