Mission Info:The plot thickens, the cast is expanding, and the drama becomes a force. Don’t you think that one more secret agent in this motley crew of downed presidents, missing netrunners and sleeper pigs is one too many? Stay on top of them, V – don’t let yourself get dragged into an even bigger mess. Like, next-corporate-war-big.

Objectives:

  • Go to the Moth bar.
  • Wait until the evening.
  • Go to the Moth bar.
  • Sit by the bar.
  • Talk to the bartender.
  • Answer Reed’s call + Talk to Reed.
  • Talk to Alex.
  • Talk to Reed.
  • Talk to Alex and Reed.
  • Meet with Reed near Slider’s hideout.
  • Talk to Johnny.
  • Meet with Reed near Slider’s hideout.
  • Talk to Reed.
  • Follow Reed.
  • Talk to Reed.
  • [Path 1] Talk to the guards.
  • [Path 2] Find a way into the ventilation shafts.
  • [Path 2] Find Slider.
  • [Path 2] Wait for Reed to help you escape.
  • [Path 1 and 2 meetup] Take out the guards.
  • Destroy the server cores to sever the Voodoo Boys connection.
  • Take out the guards.
  • Find Slider.

  • Leave the Voodoo Boys hideout with Reed.
  • Follow Reed.
  • Talk to Reed.
  • Look at the Black Sapphire.

Starting Location: Pacifica – Dogtown

This mission will automatically start once you end the phone call with Reed at the end of Lucretia My Reflection:

Go to the Moth bar

Make your way to the Moth bar using the mini-map.

Wait until the evening

There is a chair sitting out in front of the bar that if it isn’t evening time you can sit in to automatically pass the time.

Go to the Moth bar

Open the door and head inside.

Sit by the bar

Follow the marker and sit in the seat on the corner of the bar.

Talk to the bartender

Walking up to the bartender gives you the following options:

  • [Sit] Beer>all options have same outcome
  • [Sit] Soda, juice, whatev.
  • [Sit] Surprise me.
  • [Sit] Nothing for now.

Answer Reed’s call + Talk to Reed

Once the bartender goes to get your order Reed will call and start a dialogue:

  • What’s that?>bothoptions have same outcome
  • Sensin’ somethin’ stinky.
  • Understood.>bothoptions have same outcome
  • Couldn’t you mention this earlier? Sent me into a minefield.
    • The two of you close? Knew each other well? > Optional
  • [Timed] Not here, is she?>bothoptions have same outcome
  • [Show Coin] We’re working for Myers.>bothoptions have same outcome
  • [Timed] Disarm Alex > Requires Cool
  • [Timed] Show Coin] Look Familiar? > If disarmed before.
  • [Timed] Got orders from the president. > Not answering ends Dialogue with Alex.>bothoptions have same outcome
  • [Timed] Wanna spend the rest of your life here?> Not answering ends Dialogue with Alex.
  • [Drink and Stand] I’ll take this.>bothoptions have same outcome
    • Shapeshifting? What the hell? > Optional
    • “Tense.” You said…> Optional
  • [Stand] Lemme talk to her. > If you chose soda or nothing to drink.

Talk to Alex

Head outside to where Alex is and approach her for more dialogue.

  • I’m V.>bothoptions have same outcome
  • Bet you’d spit in Reed’s drink given the chance.
  • [Lean] FIA agent’s missin’ in Dogtown.>bothoptions have same outcome
  • [Lean] Your real face what I’m lookin’ at now? > Becomes Optional if you don’t introduce yourself first.
  • Deal’s a one-off thing for me.>bothoptions have same outcome
  • Actually, it’s personal.
  • After the same person – FIA and me.>bothoptions have same outcome
  • Survival.
  • Sheesh. What’s the issue?>bothoptions have same outcome
  • She also banned from your bar?

    • You’re still an agent > Optional.
  • Reed’s sure to set it up.>bothoptions have same outcome
  • Mission comes straight from the NUS pres.
  • [Walk away] Thanks.

Talk to Reed

Head back into the bar and approach Reed for another dialogue:

  • Kept some sh*t from me, Reed>all options have same outcome
  • Alex wants a spy’s retirement sinecure.
  • Still cares about you, Alex does.
  • She’s prepared to do anything to get outta here.

Talk to Alex and Reed

Alex will come back in and join the conversation:

  • Song’s MIA in Dogtown.>all options have same outcome
  • Can’t say if she’s alive.
  • Could be anywhere, that one.
  • Let’s pay him a visit.
    • Slider – who is this guy? > Optional.
      • Let a blind man escape? > Optional.
        • Why haven’t you collared him yet? > Optional.
    • He’ll help us?> Optional.

Meet with Reed near Slider’s hideout

Head out of the bar. You will get intercepted by Johnny.

Talk to Johnny

Approach Johnny for his dialogue:

  • What about it?>bothoptions have same outcome
  • People come here to commemorate the dead.
  • Somebody caught the grumpy bug this morning.>bothoptions have same outcome
  • You deserve a candle too, Johnny.
  • Ain’t got time for this.> Ends dialogue.
  • Empathy? For you?>all options have same outcome but the last
  • Share a bond, those two. True friends.
  • Only thing they still have in common is their employer.
  • What could you possibly know about them?
  • Right, Johnny. I’m outta here.> Ends dialogue.
  • Friendship and duty – not mutually exclusive.>all options have same outcome but the last
  • Just saying that because you never had friends.
  • They’re soldiers. Stick together no matter what.
  • They’re fighting for a common cause.
  • We’re getting nowhere here.> Ends dialogue.
  • What’s you point?>all options have same outcome
  • Valid question, you might be right…
  • We’ll pick it up later. Time I was on my way.

Meet with Reed near Slider’s hideout

Once the conversation with Johnny is done make your way to Slider’s hideout by following the mini-map. Once you get to Slider’s hideout head upstairs to the entrance and head over to the bench sit down to wait.

Talk to Reed

Reed will show up and speak to you briefly but there is no dialogue here.

Follow Reed

Walk with Reed forward into the building.

Talk to Reed

Once inside you will see there are guards and Reed will stop and start talking:

  • Let’s just chat ’em up. >Starts Path 1
  • Gotta be another way in. Let’s look. > Starts Path 2
  • I say we just roll in. > Requires Body > Starts with Part 1 + 2 meetup
    • Could just roll over them on the way in.

[Path 1]Talk to the guards

If you chose to speak to the guards your dialogueends and this becomes your task. Open the door and approach the guards:

  • Slider – need to talk to him.>bothoptions have same outcome
  • Lookin’ for a netrunner.
  • Slider – I know he’s inside.>bothoptions have same outcome
  • Gonna get Slider just like I got Maman Grigette.> Initiates combat. Starts with Part 1 + 2 meetup
  • Fine, we’re going.
  • f*ck you. > Initiates combat. Starts with Part 1 + 2 meetup
  • Okay, let’s go.> Starts Path 2

[Path 2]Find a way into the ventilation shafts

There is a ventilation system you can opt to choose if you select the second option when speaking to Reed or speak to the guards without making them angry and leaving back with Reed. Head outside and make your way on to the awning:

Once on the awning look for a drop down into a small alley with a door open:

Drop down and head inside and open the door on the left for Reed.

[Path 2] Find Slider

Head upstairs and into the vents. Follow the path until you drop down out of the vent.

[Path 2]Wait for Reed to help you escape

As soon as you fall get into cover as the guards will try to see what the noise was. Whatever you try a gun fight is imminent. Get ready to take out the guards.

[Path 1 and 2 meetup] Take out the guards

This path opens if you upset the guards in any way when asking them or choose the Body skill option from Reed. This also becomes the main objective during the vent sequence. Shoot the guards and force yourself in.

Destroy the server cores to sever the Voodoo Boys connection

Once in the next room there will be a big pillar in the center. You will need to shoot the cooling vents when Reed tells you they open up. Make sure to cover yourself from gunshots that will be raining down on you. When you shoot all 4 cooling vents all of the enemies will be marked:

Take out the guards

Defeat the remaining guards. Once they aredefeated you can relax a bit.

Find Slider

Head through the back doors and you will see a set of shutters you can open with the action button:

Follow Reed

Follow Reed forward as he starts to speak to Slider.

Speak to Slider

Slider will start speaking to you once you approach:

  • Don’t know yet.>bothoptions have same outcome
  • Here to negotiate.
    • Heard about me? > Optional.
  • We need a good ‘runner.>bothoptions have same outcome
  • Heard of SF1 crash?
    • No love lost ‘tween you two, huh?
  • Lookin’ for a woman I lost contact with.
    • Not even gonna try bargainin’? > Optional.
  • You will not.>bothoptions have same outcome
  • Whatever.
  • [Sit and jack in] Watch him close, Reed.>bothoptions have same outcome
  • [Sit and jack in] Don’t like this one bit.
  • [Slider] What’re you talkin’ about?>bothoptions have same outcome
  • [Johnny] Think he means you, Johnny.
  • Can’t say I did.>bothoptions have same outcome
  • Why am I not surprised…?
  • That explains a lot. > Intellignce required.

  • Blackwall’s why you fell out with the Pacifica Voodoo Boys?

Talk to Songbird

A conversation with Songbird comes immediately without moving:

  • We got disconnected.>bothoptions have same outcome
  • Never mentioned using the Blackwall.
  • [Timed] [Songbird] Everything OK?>bothoptions have same outcome
  • [Timed] [Slider] What’s going on?
  • [Timed] Jack out.>bothoptions have same outcome
  • [Timed] Jack him out, Reed! > Intellignce required.

Talk to Reed

  • [Reed] Think Slider’s dead.>bothoptions have same outcome
  • [Slider] Poor bastard…
  • [Stand] Our fault he’s dead.>bothoptions have same outcome
  • [Stand] Wasn’t that good after all. > Ends Conversation.
  • That all you got to say?>bothoptions have same outcome
  • Planned to kill him anyway, didn’t you…

Leave the Voodoo Boys hideout with Reed

Head back into the room with the core where you will be attacked by more of the Voodoo Boys. Take out all of the enemies in your way and make your way back out of the building with Reed.

Follow Reed

Once outside Reed will take off ahead of you, follow him.

Talk to Reed

Reed will eventually stop moving forward and inquire about what Songbird told you:

  • Was glad to see you here.>all options have same outcome
  • Confirmed she’s using the Blackwall…
  • Looked tired, ailing.

Look at the Black Sapphire

During the conversation Reed will want you to look up to the right at the Black Sapphire:

Talk to Reed

Once you see it the conversation will continue. There is no further dialogue in this conversation just the desire to have you call Mr. Hands. Once Reed leaves this mission will be complete.
