DIY Fairy Crown Craft — Bindle & Brass Trading Company (2024)

This simple DIY Fairy Crown Craft will inspire your children with a little imaginary play this summer. A sweet addition to a woodland fairy birthday party, or get the family together for a magical iced tea party outside on those hot summer nights.

Desire more intensity? Paint each flower a different color and use more tulle. Looking for something more subdued? Keep the colors to a minimum by using monochromatic pastels.

Craft this ethereal flower crown and celebrate the warmer months ahead. Try our DIY Scented Broom Fairy Craft and hang them throughout your trees for a divine fairy forest.

To start gather all supplies:

  • Bindle & Brass Natural Deco Flowers

  • different colors of tulle

  • raffia wrapped floral wire

  • paint colors to match tulle

  • wire cutters

  • scissors

  • paint brush

  • copper floral wire

  • vase or other object about the size of head

  • painting supplies; plate, paper towel, cup of water

Find a good crafting space:

  1. Wrap wire around vase twice, to determine crown width.

  2. Clip and twist wire.

  3. Clip deco flowers off of main stem.

  4. Paint deco flowers, inside and out, alternating colors.

  5. Cut 2” pieces of copper floral wire.

  6. Attach Deco flowers to crown with wire.

  7. Cut approximately 6’ of each color tulle, adjust to desired length.

  8. Thread on back of crown.

  9. Now it is ready for the fairy queens head.
