How long to spend at Enchanted Adventure? ›

How much time should I allow for our enchanted adventure? Each ticket grants you all-day access to the General Admission activities. We recommend allowing a minimum of 2 to 3 hours to experience our ground-based adventure activities! If you're planning on going Tree Surfing, you'll need to allow additional time!

Tree Surfing is a high ropes adventure with ziplines, swinging rope bridges, suspended tunnels and a giant Tarzan Swing set in the native trees of this bushland park. There are two courses to choose from: the Grand course for adults and teens and the Nippers course for young children.

Travelling by car

Once you're past Dromana, take the Arthurs Seat exit and follow the scenic drive up the hill and turn right on Purves Road. You'll find entrances to our park at 21 and 55 Purves Road.

CAN I BRING MY DOG OR PET INTO THE PARK? Sadly, no. No pets are allowed inside the park. We are located amongst native bushland and have furry friends that can wander through our park from time to time.

The event route is about 1 mile long and takes most visitors about one hour to complete. Plan to spend about 90 minutes to fully experience Enchanted. While it's a relatively easy walk, we do recommend comfy, stable shoes. The route is accessible for strollers, wheelchairs, and mobility assistance devices.

Thanks to our local Conservation Partnership Officers, Marc Russell and Alan Wynn, we were recently introduced to a very useful tool – the Tree Popper. The jaws of the Tree Popper clamp the weed at the base of the stem, then using the lever principle they pull the whole plant out of the ground, roots and all.

The trunk facilitates the movement of water and minerals up from the roots in the soil to the branches, stems and eventually to the leaves. The trunk also facilitates the movement of the sugar down from the leaves, stems and branches to the roots.

The High Road and Dunsapie Loch Car Park are open to vehicles from Tues to Thur, 9.30am to 3pm. A one way system is in place for cyclists. Sat & Sun, all roads are closed to vehicles. Closures commence 8.15am to 9am and reopen from 5pm to 5.45pm.

The main trail at The Enchanted Forest takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. The Wildland Interpretive Nature Walk takes approximately 1 hour to complete.

You are free to stay as long as you like to enjoy the show. A full circuit (1.8km) of the forest should take you around 60 minutes walking at a leisurely pace.

Can dogs hike up Enchanted Rock? ›

To protect the ecosystem of this Natural Area, pets are only allowed in the designated picnic areas, the campgrounds, and on the Loop Trail. Pets are not permitted on the Summit Trail leading to Enchanted Rock's highest dome, or any of the seven peaks of the granite uplift.

Tickets to The Enchanted Garden Walk are strictly non-refundable for change of mind or if a person is unable to attend due to personal circ*mstances.

Rock City is proud to be a pet-friendly attraction. If you're in the Chattanooga area, we welcome you to stop by with your dog or cat. We've even had goats and parrots visit us! Any leashed pets are welcome to walk the Enchanted Trail or to dine in the pet section at Café 7 with you.

Trained service animals are welcome at Enchanted Forest. Service animals must be house broken and remain on a leash or harness and under the control of their handler at all times.

Dogs are allowed off-lead on Adventure Bay beach, A vehicle ferry runs from Kettering, 40 minutes south of Hobart, to Bruny Island off Tasmania's southeast coast. The campground is next to Adventure Bay Beach, with frequent migratory whale and dolphin sightings.
