What language do the fae speak? ›

Fae language is the language spoken by the Fae. Known speakers of the language include Bast and Felurian.

It follows then that the fairies speak the local language or, even dialect. They speak Gaelic in the Highlands, Welsh in Wales and English in England- and going further an Exmoor fairy sounds just like a Somerset peasant (Ruth Tongue, County Folklore, vol. VIII, p. 117).

Regardless of the name used, the fae are generally understood to be more than mere mortals, but less than gods. They are associated with nature, have magical powers and an inclination to interfere with humans. Throughout history they were associated with ghosts, spirits, demigods, demons and devils.

If you've studied fairy lore for more than five minutes, you'll know that you don't ever say “thank you” because it implies an obligation on your end (you've just agreed to a contract you didn't know you were agreeing to) or it's insulting to the fae, because it implies they are there to serve you.

The lore of the faery realm has, like the world of humans, traditionally focused on love—both tales of faery lovers and of fey beings who have fallen in love with mortals and sometimes tried to keep them forever in their faery kingdoms.

Fate: The Winx Saga changes that formula by introducing six core elements that every fairy's magic connects to – fire, water, earth, air, light, and mind. Aisha's “waves” magic simply becomes water magic, Musa is a mind fairy, and so on.

It is unknown why the fairies call humans "Mud Men"; this may result from the fairies' conception that uncivilized, low-tech people are nothing more than cave-men, thus mud men, and that they are filthy in comparison to fairies.

Fairies are somewhat delicate creatures, standing between four and five feet tall. All fairies have vibrantly color eyes ranging from green to blue to pink to orange and more. Some of them even have brightly colored hair varying to the same degree, though there are a few fairies that have more generic colored hair.

Only divine beings have the power to do this. So, its not possible for a human to be mutated into a fairy as Faries no longer exist. It is possible for a human to be mutated into another sentient race even its gender can be mutated as well and done instantly but it is never done as there is no need to do that.

Do fae tell the truth? ›

In folklore and fiction the idea that fae can't lie is very common. Hags aren't generally considered Fae (that's a D&Dism). While Fae can't tell a lie, they can mislead and they mislead all the time. The most common way to achieve this is to very selectively tell you only parts of the truth.

If someone annoys a Fae sufficiently, they will generally take an elaborate revenge upon that person at some point in the future, sometimes taking decades to plan it. In the interim, their victim is marked with a curse, warning other Creatures not to mess with that person until they've had their go.

Never take anything without giving something of equal value in return. Never give a favour without getting one in kind. All of Reality depends on it. 2) No true Fae may allow a lie to leave their lips, else let their power be stripped and never returned.

Don't accept gifts and never thank the Fey. Do not eat Fey Food or drink Fey Wine when uninvited. Don't give Fey cheap clothing. Don't mention that you have a newborn child at home or speak the names of children.
