✔ Your dog is well-behaved around people and other dogs
Failure to follow these rules will result in removal from the farm.
Very. Tulip Town is visited by many wonderful people every season! We ask that you come as close to your time slot as possible to ensure everyone has access to the field. Please plan for heavy traffic and thank you for helping us keep it all running smoothly!
Entry times are staggered to help manage capacity throughout the day. Most visitors find that 1-2 hours is enough time to explore everything. If you'd like to hang a bit longer, we won't mind!
Oh, how we wish we could predict exact bloom dates! Each year, we plant a mix of early, mid, and late-season blooming varieties. When Mother Nature cooperates, we have beautiful flowers all month long. However, there are no guarantees in farming and no refunds for lack of bloom. Please visit our Facebook & Instagram pages prior to your visit to check the current bloom status in the fields.
Our trolley takes you on a ride around the farm giving you unique views of the tulips. Please remember our trolley is weather-dependent and sometimes she can’t get moving in all that mud!
Tulip Town has paved ADA parking with direct access to our paved indoor barn experience and shops.
We are a working farm and have limited ADA accessibility in the outdoor sections of Tulip Town. We have gravel paths to get to the trolley and around our display gardens. Guests with walkers might have some difficulty on the gravel. The bloom field is often muddy and not accessible for walkers and wheelchairs.
Our trolley does not have wheelchair accessibility due to the 4 stairs necessary to enter and exit the trolley.
We are a no drone zone.
Tulips just LOVE our blustery and wet springs in the Skagit Valley! It is often wet, muddy, and farm-like here at Tulip Town. We recommend your best pair of rubber boots or something that doesn’t mind a little dirt!
Local's Night will be April 10th from 5pm - 7pm. This is our way to celebrate with and thank our community - only Skagit County residents will be allowed to enter the farm during these hours.
Parking
Unfortunately, there is not enough room in our parking lot to accommodate RVs.
That said, you want to find a nice middle ground. Fewer than five questions might indicate you haven't done your research… or that you didn't need an FAQ to begin with. Fielding dozens of questions isn't good either, but if they're all necessary, consider splitting your FAQ into multiple pages.
I always prefer to ask questions. In my opinion, being inquisitive should be a trait for everyone to have because how would we know anything if we don't ask questions.
Answers should be CCF (clear, concise, and factual)
(I have just made up this abbreviation, but it does a good job getting my point across.) A good rule of thumb is to write short answers to each question — two to three paragraphs would make a good answer. If you go longer, the page will be too long and cluttered.
A good FAQ page includes various questions with well-written answers. These questions and answers should be related to the topic itself and have to offer valuable information for visitors. Also, a helpful FAQ page should demonstrate a company's features and solutions.
Your FAQ information doesn't necessarily have to appear in the traditional question-and-answer format. That format is useful when customers look up their problems on a page, but your goal is to address the problem before the customer ever experiences it.
Questions are important because they help us create a framework for understanding and discovery, whereas answers are (at most) temporary fixes to our problems. Both questions and answers must be updated over time as things change.
The premise of the game is simple: One person, called the “answerer,” thinks of an object. The other player — the “questioner” — asks up to 20 yes-or-no questions in order to determine what object the answerer is thinking about. If the questioner guesses correctly within 20 questions, they win.
Be polite • Repeat the question to ensure everyone has heard it • Answer clearly and concisely, using plain language • Thank the questioner • If you do not know the answer, admit it. Do not bluff. Promise to follow it up – and do so!
Use the correct punctuation at the end -- a question mark if the prompt is a question; a period if it is a statement. Use double spacing and one inch margins. Separate the answer from the question by beginning the answer on a new line. Always answer in complete sentences.
