  • Capsicum & Bell Pepper
  • Tomato
  • Onion
  • Ginger & Garlic paste
  • Powdered Spices like Cumin Powder, Coriander Powder, Turmeric Powder, Garam Masala Powder, Dry Mango or Amchur Powder
  • Carrom Seeds or Ajwain
  • Dry Fenugreek leaves or Kasoori Methi
  • Gram Flour or Besan
  • Yogurt
  • Mustard Oil
  • Salt

We are also going to need Bamboo Skewers to make the tikkas. Some Charcoal pieces to give it the smokey flavor.

Step-by-step instructions for this grilled Paneer Tikka on Tawa

  • Cut the Paneer into inch-sized cubes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine Gram Flour or Besan, Yogurt, Spices, Powdered Spices, and Mustard Oil into a Paneer Tikka marination paste
  • Take a piece of Aluminium Foil paper and mould it into a bowl. Burn a piece of charcoal till you see red ambers burning through it. Place it on the aluminum foil and drizzle some ghee on it. As it smokes, cover the bowl with a lid to stop the smoke from escaping. This would infuse all the flavors into the paneer and veggie cubes
  • Drop the Paneer cubes and veggies in it and let it sit in this for at least 30 minutes
  • Meanwhile, soak the bamboo skewers in water to prevent them from burning up
  • Fire up your grill pan and strew the paneer and veggie cubes into the bamboo skewer. Now place these paneer tikkas on the pan and let them get a golden char
  • Serve it hot and crispy with a drizzle of lemon juice and rock salt

Instructions
