There are still some dishes that I have been missing since ditching the carbs. While I have created alternatives to my favorites like Zucchini Lasagna instead of my traditional homemade lasagna, keto garlic bread instead of my carb loaded garlic bread and my Keto Cheddar biscuits to replace my cheddar biscuits.

The one thing I have been struggling with is rice. I love rice, my family loves rice. Garlic Rice, Mexican Rice, Creamy Parmesan rice, we love it all! I have tried adjusting them to be keto rice recipes with no such luck to get the flavors I want them to be. Then I started thinking and got creating and created this Keto Dirty Rice. It was amazing, the whole family loved it and no one even realized that it was a low carb recipe! I am so excited to be sharing this keto rice recipe with you!

Dirty rice is a traditional creole rice dish that is made with veggies, spices and rice. In this low carb dirty rice recipe we switch out the carb filled rice for cauliflower rice and end up with an amazing Keto Dirty Rice recipe that can be served as a main dish or a side dish!

You can use beef broth instead of the water and better than beef bouillon but this stuff really helps give you that very beefy flavor since you are not cooling the rice in beef broth.

  • cauliflower rice
  • green bell pepper
  • medium sized onion
  • raw ground beef
  • olive oil
  • water
  • better than beef bouillon
  • garlic powder
  • slap your momma creole seasoning (This is the BEST one I have found!)
  • celery seed
  • cayenne pepper powder
  • black pepper

How to Make Keto Cauliflower Dirty Rice

Wash and dice the green bell pepper, and onion and set aside.

In a large skillet over medium heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add in the peppers and onions and cook until they have softened.

Add the ground beef to the pan and break it up with a wooden spoon. Stir frequently until the beef is cooked.

Add the rice, water, bouillon, garlic, creole seasoning, celery seed, cayenne and pepper to the pan. Stir until well combined.

Keep cooking until the liquid has been absorbed.

  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 cups cauliflower rice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon better than beef bouillon
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon slap your momma creole seasoning This is the BEST one I have found!
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/4 cayenne pepper powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions
