Long press the home button for at least 5 seconds until the light goes off to reset the working time after the filter is replaced.

The liner is supposed to be replaceable- however, by making it replaceable there is a gap between the plastic edge of the liner and the casing. This allows for urine to seep through the gap and leak on the underside of the machine. If allowed to accumulate, it can cause a horrible urine smell.
