UCLA prospects in both the 2025 and 2026 classes made moves in the latest update of the 247Sports prospect rankings.

2025 Prospect Rankings

In the 2025 rankings, UCLA's two highest-ranked targets remained the same. Koa Peat, the 6-7 power forward from Perry (Ariz.) remained a five-star prospect and ranked at No. 5 nationally.

The 6-3 combo guard Brayden Burries from Eastvale (Calif.) Roosevelt also maintained at No.12, but now that the five-star designation goes deeper in the ranking, Burries has gained that fifth star.

Chris Cenac, the 6-10 power forward from Branson (Missouri) Link Academy, who blew up at the recent NBA Players Camp, jumped from No. 47 to No. 15 and earned that fifth star.

The 7-0 center Xavion Staton, from Las Vegas (Nev.) Sierra Vista, actually slipped in the rankings, from No. 20 to No. 23.

Niko Bundalo, the 6-11 power forward Hudson (Ohio) Western Reserve Academy, moved up from No. 30 to 25.

Tounde Yessoufou, the 6-5 small forward from Santa Maria (Calif.) St. Joseph, has been looking improved all spring, and made an appropriate upward move to No. 29 from 37.

Nikolas Khamenia, the 6-7 power forward from Studio City (Calif.) Harvard Westlake also moved up as a result of his good recent performances to No. 29 from No. 38.

One of UCLA's top targets, however, Dwayne Aristode, the 6-7 small forward from Wolfeboro (New Hampshire) Brewster Academy, fell from No. 22 to 32.

UCLA's newest prospect, Davis Fogle, the 6-7 small forward from Chandler (Ariz.) A Z Compass Prep, parlayed some greatly improved performances to make one of the biggest moves in the updated rankings, from No. 73 to No. 33.

2026 Rankings

The most mind-blowing aspect of 247Sports' updated 2026 prospect rankings is that five of the top six prospects nationally are from California.

And what's also pretty crazy, is that since they're so elite, their recruitments are going to be circuses, and mostly based on NIL -- and I'm talking outrageous NIL amounts. And that means UCLA ultimately might take itself out of the running for some of them, at least, and opt to go the less-circusy and more-reliable transfer portal route. Just so you all know, just about any five-star prospect that is top 10 in the nation, besides costing you a bank-vault worth of NIL, usually has an insular entourage around him that are looking for a payday themselves, that demand a certain amount of playing time and shots per game, who also commonly establish that their guy is absolutely one-and-done and will only be at school for seven months, and will be breathing down any coach's neck throughout the season, and probably expecting their player to receiver their NIL without fulfilling their NIL obligations, which is against NCAA rules. Among other things. That's what the new circus is when I say "circus."

Regardless, when it comes to the updated 2026 rankings...

Holding at No. 4 is Alijah Arenas, from Chatsworth (Calif.) and at No. 5, point guard Jason Crowe Jr. from Lynwood (Calif.).

Tajh Ariza, the 6-6 small forward from Westchester (Calif.), and the son of former UCLA player Trevor Ariza, is now at No. 6, up from No. 10.
