BotW/TotK Link vs the 4 Champions (READ OP) - Battles - Comic Vine (2024)

@platinumfanboy1:

And you have for 10th time failed to show me any f*cking feat. So win for me.

I legit did. I showed you "f*cking feats" so many times already, you just either ignore them or just have no valid rebutal for them. In your Avengers run a TotK gauntlet thread, at one point I straight up had a whole series of feats and statements for her listed.

Mipha was chosen to train the Hyrulean army in spear fighting because she was considered the most capable SPEAR MASTER in Hyrule who could train them in "real combat" to prepare for the Calamity, a battle that would decide the fate of the entire Kingdom. Her spearmanship was stated "in a class all it's own" and I don't know if you know what "in a class all it's own" means but it's used to describe things that are better than any other similar thing. Future Sidon stated in main story missions that he wishes to be as good a fighter as her some day. She helped fight back the Yiga clans' forces during the "Yiga clans' attack" after her and Daruk seperated. We see in a cutscene that her Hollow is capable of keeping up just fine in combat with the other Champion Hollows and in fact, it's her and Daruk's Hollows that do the most damage to Link with hers pushing him back and breaking his sword and Daruk finally taking him down. She defeated all these flying Guardians during her Champion trial. She held off against Waterblight Ganon for a while before Sidon, Link and Zelda came to help as it took time for Link, Zelda and her troops to get to Vah Ruta's location on foot. Even during the battle for Akkala Citadel, she was sent inside the citadel by Zelda to go defeat the monsters (such as a Hinox and White Moblin) and go heal the soldiers who were struggling agains these monsters, she saved Robbie from a Malice Guardian, and she fought off Guardian forces in the south. And she fought on the frontlines with the other Champions during the fight against the Calamity.

How exactly does any of this ^ make you think "Oh yeah, she's definitely a trash fighter"? She was a renown warrior. I find it weird that you see her carry around a trident 24/7 which she was given at birth and trained to use by the Zora Royal Family's order of Knights ever since she was young and you think she apparently can't fight.

Dude, you said yourself above that Mipha is a trash fighter outside of water and is only a medic, and I simply disproved your point with multiple statements and feats saying the exact opposite and how she's a great fighter. Again, I'm not arguing about which Champion and Sage she could or could not beat, this is me arguing against her being a "trash fighter" and I've brought foward some evidence.

No genius, you didn't win anything by bringing sh*t comparisons and pure statements contradicted by antifeats

What anti-feats? Mipha doesn't really have any anti-feats except losing to Waterblight just the same way each Champion also lost to their respective Blights. Are all the Champions weak now because they also lost to their Ganon Blights? Please try again. Bring foward anti-feats.

Urbosa's Thunder looks much more powerful in desert than Sidon's "giga" whirlpool it is pretty small even smaller than whirlpool in Lake Hylia.

Sidon's whirlpool and the one in Lake Hylia are both literally just as big. Go check back in-game. The whirlpool isn't small whatsoever as Link and Sidon are both dwarfed in size by it and appear as dots if you look at it from a high point.

I know Urbosa's lightning strike was larger. That's why I had her above Sidon in my rankings of power.

Moragia tentacle looked much bigger than this and rock >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> H2O

I went back to look at the fight and Moragia is definitely larger than what I remembered but I'm not even sure if this can be counted as a feat for his fire powers or more so a physical feat. Again, need I remind you my ranking of power was based on how large of a scale and size these characters displayed their powers. As far as feats for his flames go, Yunobo hasn't shown much and he never showed any large flames compared to let's say Urbosa's biggest lightning strikes.

Milions times more impressive than tiny whirlpool pulling Link into the bottom

Yeah again, "tiny"... That's simply a bad attempt at downballing the feat.

And no actual impressive showed feats. 10th time you fails to show me any showing made by Mipha but keep assuming how Mipha is fighting. Like that trash talk with beating guardian stalker, turret and flying guardian. Assuming Mipha is "that OMG super skilled" woman interpreuting to your own favour statements like "Grace" doesn't mean it is healing power. You are nothing different from people who powerscale Link or Zelda to complex multiversal cosmic beings just like Devil May Cry tards trying to scale Dante to multiversal beings.

"Assuming Mipha is 'that OMG super skilled' woman"- Because she literally is. It's said, I don't know how many times, that she was a "super skilled spear fighter".

Bro, we already went over this. Seggin never called her powers as "Mipha's Grace" or "Grace" ever. Literally nobody in Zora's domain refered to her healing powers as "Mipha's Grace". They only ever refered to them as "healing magic", "healing powers", or "healing". Also, after Mipha died and called her healing powers "Mipha's Grace", the word grace is always written with a capital when refering to her powers. Meanwhile Seggin refered to the word grace all in lowercase. It's the same way that the Lightscale Trident's description refers to it as "a spear of peerless grace" for example. He's not talking about her healing. It's very clear he was refering to her fighting style being graceful in the phrase "with her usual skill and grace".

Dude, the hell are you talking about? I don't know where I ever said I scale Link or Zelda to "complex multiversal". And I don't care about whatever beef you're having with Devil May Cry debaters. What I'm doing here is simply bringing the evidence that Mipha is not a "trash fighter outside of water". Why are you coping so hard over Mipha being a bad fighter when nothing of the sort is ever shown or suggested anywhere?

No dude, you are simply wrong if writer and animator deceides not to show any feat for MIpha but Revali, Tulin gets own impressive screen time.

Tulin doesn't have any more cutscene combat feats. We get to fight as Mipha in, Age of Calamity, during story related missions. We get to see her Hollow fight against Link in a cutscene. The writers in question which you are refering to go out of their way on multiple occasions to tell us just how much Mipha was a good fighter throughout the games themselves.

WoG ? Really ? That is the best you can do if you have nothing left to say ? I guess another win for me because you use Death Of Author Fallacy against me.

Death of Author fallacy? You're simply not making any sense. In-game statements aren't to simply be disregarded. They are valid unless directly contradicted by something else. They are literally in the games for a reason!!! It's what allows for world-building, for context behind events, etc.

If we were to just ignore all of her skill accolades/statements and off-screen wins or fights that don't happen in cutscenes, then we should do the same for every other character which means: someone like Yunobo is borderline featless. 1. The fight against Moragia, that didn't happen in a cutscene, it happens as part of gameplay so I guess we just ignore it. 2. Then his solo rematch against Marbeled Gohma happened off-screen too so we just ignore that. 3. And then him helping Link to fight Ganondorf's armies or Phantom Ganons also only happened as part of the gameplay and not in a ctuscene so disregard that too.

So then what is Yunobo left with in terms of combat feats? Basically nothing. So yeah, that's why we don't just disrgard stuff like that.

Oh I have yet to see you win anything. You say I have nothing left to say, dude it seems you just straight up have nothing to say to prove that Mipha is a "trash fighter".

And you make countless of Hitchen Razors and other logical fallacies.

Simply throwing around these two words without weight does not make you anymore right here. I haven't made any "Hitchen Razor" or "logical fallacies". All the arguments I brought fowards are related to this topic and don't divert from it at all.

I will not waste another 1 hour of my precious life to explain. Babble whatever you do, i will not waste time for you.

Great, so when I ask you to explain how any of the statements I've brought up are "out of context", you can't back it up at all?
