Topsoil, Dust, and Compost

Topsoil is the outermost layer of soil, typically found to be between 2 and 12 inches deep, and rich in organic matter & microorganisms. Compost, or humus, is the nutrient rich organic matter byproduct, of the controlled decomposition of green (yard) waste. Stone Dust, or Fine Crush is the byproduct of crushing concrete and stone, is powder-like in nature, and contains small amounts of stone that are typically less than 1/8" in size.
